Agricultural Photography
Although agricultural photography may not be popular these days, there remain some professional photographers who are specialising in this area. This is because agricultural lands and scenes continue to be beautiful subjects for photography, offering shutterbugs the opportunity to create gorgeous and interesting shots.
Agricultural photos are often used in various commercial activities, mainly advertising and marketing. Professional photographers often work under contract with landowners, farmers and commercial farming companies. They do most of the job out in the field, capturing crops, insects, farming tools, soils, and planting and harvesting scenes. However, besides photography for commercial reasons, agricultural photographers take photos for educational purposes as well.
